“Spanish traditional music with unusual instruments”
Fetén Fetén is a musical project presented by Diego Galaz and Jorge Arribas.
The melodies that they have come up with in this show are mostly original compositions by both musicians, which offer a journey through popular music, both traditional and cabaret, as well as various other styles that have influenced this remarkable duo.
The duo Feten Feten takes you on a journey through melodies inspired by traditional Spanish dance music in which eight different instruments are used in their live show. Some of them, such as the Stroh violin, the musical saw, the vibrandoneon, the frying pan or the phonofiddle, are very unusual.
It’s a surprising proposition in which rhythms such as the chotis (traditional dance of Madrid), seguidilla (a quick, triple-time old Castilian folksong and dance form), pasodoble, waltz, fox trot and rumba, among others, get your feet moving and bring a smile to people of all ages. It’s a great opportunity to discover the essence of Spanish music though this entertaining duo’s very own compositions.
